The association des Amis et Pèlerins de Saint-Jacques de la Voie de Vézelay promotes St James' Way, is in charge of the trial markers for part of the way, welcomes pilgrims in Vezelay and the 4 retreats along the way at Ainay-le-Château, Bouzais, Sorges et Ligueux en Périgord et Saint-Ferme.
