Alain Geoffroy, a renowned Chablis winemaker, is passionate about old tools and corkscrews. The winegrower has acquired an impressive number of objects and tools related to working the vineyards. To date, his collection includes nearly 9000 pieces. Each object tells a story in a remarkable exhibition that explains the work of the winemaker. An astounding collection of 4900 corkscrews from the eighteenth century to the present day. A second floor is open to visitors with tools related to the work of the vine and wine. Self-guided tours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 12pm and 1.30pm to 5.30pm, Saturdays in summer (June, July, August and September) 10am to 12.30pm and 2pm to 5.30pm. Closed on Sundays.
Group visits: by prior arrangement from Monday to Friday.
