The museum is dedicated to the life and works of Vauban, military engineer who served under Louis XIV. He was a true defender of France, an astute observer of his times and a great “statesman”, by the diversity and ingenuity of the propositions he made, which were well ahead of his time. New in 2020, exhibitions, conferences, and a presentation of the “Treaty of forest management” written by Vauban.
