Our destination is approximately 2h from Paris (220 km) and from Lyon (250 km), and only 1 hour from Dijon (106 km)

It’s really easy to get here!

By train

Despite not being on the TGV axe, we do have the TER (Transport Express Régional).  Check out the timetables and destinations here: www.ter.sncf.com/bourgogne

From Paris

For Avallon : Departure from Gare de Paris Bercy – arrives in Avallon

For Vézelay : Departure from Gare de Paris Bercy– Arrives in  Sermizelles-Vézelay + shuttle bus twice a day to Vézelay (10 km)

For Noyers : Departure from Gare de Paris Bercy – Stop at Tonnerre + bus to Noyers (regular service or on demand service)

By car

Access by car is easy – Exit 22  for Avallon on the A6 motorway (or exit 21 for Nitry) or by departmental roads, follow the N6.  We are only 2 hours away from Paris and 2½ hours from Lyon!

By bus

In Vézelay, a free electric shuttle will take you up the steep slope to the Basilica (timetable varies according to the season)

By plan

For those of you who fly, there is an airfield in Avallon for light aircrafts which is open year round to public air traffic (CAP) – Tél : +33 3 86 34 15 11

Otherwise the nearest international airports are Paris or Lyon.
